28 Weeks Pregnant

I haven't said officially on our blog, but it's no secret... I'm pregnant.  Make that very pregnant.  We are expecting our second baby boy in April.  We have decided to name him Davin (short 'a,' short 'i').  Some parts of this pregnancy have been easier than last time and most parts have been harder.  Luckily, I was over my morning sickness by 13 weeks this time.  Weeks 13-22 were awesome...

When I was at 22 weeks, I had some scary contractions and had to go in to the hospital for a few hours for monitoring.  I am so glad that the contractions stopped and I was able to go home without spending the night.  I get contractions very easily and have to rest... a lot.  This has proven to be a difficult chore.  I am looking forward to reaching full term so that I can feel free to do everything I want/need to do.

We found out that I was pregnant at just 3 weeks, so I wanted to be sure...

Davin at 18 weeks... This was when we found out we had a boy.

Christmas at Home 2012

This Christmas, like last year, we stayed at home.  It was fun.  We drank lots of hot cocoa, watched Christmas movies, had fires in the fire place, played with Cullen's new toys, and Grant and Cullen played outside while I rested.  We traveled to see family a couple of days after Christmas.  We had fun there too.  Cullen got so many toys.  We are so blessed to have so many people who love our son!

One of the things that I got for Christmas was Photoshop Lightroom.  I love it!  It has been nice to be able to play with it while I have to rest so much... so, here are some pictures that I used it on.

Florida

Last year, Grant had some work in Orlando, so Cullen and I decided to go along for some Florida fun.  We stayed in an awesome resort!  As it turns out, the middle of the fall is a really cheap time to go to Orlando.  Our "villa" was bigger than our last apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room.  We were right on the golf course with a water trap, including an alligator, about 50 yards from our back door.  We had so much fun!

While we were there, we took 2 days to go to Disney World.  We visited the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  Apparently Disney World is the perfect place to vacation with a pregnant woman and a 15 month old.  We could ride almost everything as a family.  Cullen sat right in our laps on all the rides.  At the Magic Kingdom, there is a cute little 1900s style barber shop where Cullen had his first hair cut.

We loved eating breakfast on the patio of our villa.

Waiting in "line" for Dumbo is more fun with a playground.

Donald is the last character that didn't scare Cullen.

Cullen did not like Minnie, Mickey, or Pluto at all.
