Goodbye Redbox

We are officially boycotting Redbox and you should too!  A DVD we returned was lost and they have charged us $25 (full price) for a movie that we don't even have!!!!  They also don't seem very interested in keeping our business as evidence from the customer service rep's attitude.

I was told that this could happen if we put the DVD in the case backward.

We could have had 3 whole months of Net Flix if we had known this would happen.

I totally agree with your boycott. I stopped using the redbox last year. Many times the machine at my local McD was not working properly and the DVDs were not returning right(the time was wrong on the machine! so even if you returned it by the due time, it was marked for an additional days rental!), only once out of a half dozen times did I get my money back from them overcharging me for "late" DVD returns.

Stick with Netflix, they even let you watch movies instantly on your computer. :) Much better bargain. The lowest per-month charge with unlimited PC viewing, is around $9 monthly.
